Free Car Check is a quick and easy way to get information about a vehicle. It collates data from various sources including the DVLA and VOSA to give you a run down about the vehicles identifying features, tax status and if available MOT history.

Some data including the VIN, MOT history and last odometer reading are only available when the "document reference number" from the logbook are entered. Such information is normally considered sensitive, so this check allows only people with a valid interest to access it.
